2019 List of Activites

Friday, June 21st 5:30 pm — The Piscataquis Regional YMCA's 11th Annual Dinner Dance Auction. There will be a live and silent auction, Keys to the City Dueling Piano Showcase along with a cash bar and catered dinner by Spruce Mill Farm & Kitchen. Friday June 21st, 7:00pm — The Maine Whoopie Pies vs. Reading at Hadlock Field in Portland, Maine.The Portland Sea Dogs are changing their name…for one night anyway. The Sea Dogs will become the Maine Whoopie Pies, presented by Trademark Federal Credit Union, on Friday, June 21st when they host the Reading Fightin Phils at 7:00 PM at Hadlock Field. The name change is in celebration of the official state treat of Maine: the whoopie pie!  For more information click here.

Saturday, June 22nd 8:00AM — Piscataquis Regional YMCA “Earn Your Whoopie Pie” Kid’s 1K Fun Run, for kids ages 3-11.  Registration is $10 with T-shirt included; $3 without a shirt.  Participants may register downtown on race day, but you must pre-register to be guaranteed a shirt. 11:45AM — The Northern Grey Band playing at the 1st Annual Dover True Value Homeshow Expo.

The Northern Grey is an eclectic family band consisting of Clifford Cameron on keys/vocals,

Morgan Cameron on vocals/mandolin and Brian Smith on guitar/bass/vocals.

They play a wide variety of music from progressive bluegrass to rock and pop music.
